On 13 May, 2015 at the 21st National Trust Heritage Awards the extraordinary work of CAWB was recognised by them winning the community advocacy division.
CAWB representatives Pete Reynolds and Kate Mackaness accepted the award on behalf of the Hawkesbury community. A clearly emotional Kate paid tribute to all the community members who are such an important part of this protest.
