HEARING, NOT LISTENING
On 22 and 23 October, our case is being heard in the Land and Environment Court
Under new laws the NSW Government has made it impossible to appeal against the ‘merit’ of building Option One.
Option One could be (possibly is) the worst idea in the world yet there is nothing any one of us can do.
However, we can appeal on the legality of the Minister's decision. This is called a Judical Appeal: this is what CAWB's Barristers are taking to court today.
There are a number of possible outcomes from the hearings. CAWB has a range of tactics and strategies in place to respond to any eventuality. Our Facebook page will keep you informed of developments as they occur.
